The Squadron Boating Coursesm

The Squadron Boating Course sm is designed to be useful to all boaters. Fisherman in an outboard or a skipper in a large cruiser or sailboat will benefit from this course. All boaters are subject to nautical rules and regulations. Every boater should learn and respect traditional boating courtesies. This course is designed to be of interest to the entire family; older children are welcome. We encourage your family to attend.
The Squadron Boating Course sm contains sixteen sections and covers additional topics such as an introduction to reading charts and plotting courses. Course Outline is listed below.
The course meets the educational standards of the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and features a proctored examination as required by many states and insurance companies. The course will provide instruction and examination for laws and regulations of state and local authorities. Upon passing the examination a certificate is issued.
