Greensboro Community Television, Inc.
Greensboro Community Television, Cable Channel 8, is the public access television station for Greensboro and Guilford County, North Carolina. We are located in the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center in downtown Greensboro.
Our mission is to provide the means and promote the opportunity for area citizens to create and cablecast local television programming based on the principals of free speech and democratic participation.
You don't have to be a video professional or even have any experience. All you need is an idea, the energy, and the imagination to make your project a reality. We can even produce your video for you!
Change in Our Office Hours 
Beginning Monday, August 20, 2007, the Cable 8 office will be closed each day from 12:00 noon until 1:30 pm. Editing and Studio times will need to be scheduled accordingly. Series programs may be placed in the mail slot during this time. Other operating hours will remain the same.

Greensboro Community Television is still facing a threat! There are bills currently being considered in both the North Carolina State Legislature and our National Congress that threaten all public, educational and governmental access stations across the country. If these bills are voted into law, there could be no more access television
Contact your Senators and Representatives. Let them know that local access is important, and that you want to enlist their support in continuing to give the local constituency a voice. Urge them to oppose any legislation detrimental to Public, Educational or Government Access television.
