Classes
In order to sign up for a training class at Greensboro Community Television, you must first attend an Orientation and become a Member.
Cable 8's classes are on a first-come first-serve basis. You must attend all sessions listed for your class and pass a hands-on evaluation test in order to be certified on the equipment.
We offer four certification classes. Click on the links below for details about each specific class.
Special sessions may be scheduled if you have a group from your organization or church who would like to be certified. Please contact a staff member for more information.
Please let us know if you cannot attend a workshop that you have registered for. Class fees are non-refundable, but we can register you for the next available session. Classes may be cancelled at the discretion of Cable 8 if they do not have enough people signed up for that session. If you have registered for a class that has been cancelled, our instructor will notify you of the next available class.
