Welcome to
Greensboro Community Television, Inc.
Greensboro Community Television, Cable Channel 8, is the public access television station for Greensboro and Guilford County, North Carolina. We are located in the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center in downtown Greensboro.
Our mission is to provide the means and promote the opportunity for area citizens to create and cablecast local television programming based on the principals of free speech and democratic participation.
You don't have to be a video professional or even have any experience. All you need is an idea, the energy, and the imagination to make your project a reality. We can even produce your video for you!
Facebook will allow us to communicate better with you! You can become a fan and subscribe to our user group, so that if we post new information you will find it in your
Facebook Newsfeed.
Having a Facebook Page and Group will allow us to communicate better with you, and will allow you to link to other producers from our station to network and share tips and production information.
Please help us by becoming a fan of Cable 8. Search for "Greensboro Community Television" on Facebook, and become a fan and join our user group! When we reach 25 fans on our page, we can get a dedicated URL for the Greensboro Community Television on Facebook so it will be easy to link to our web page, and it will allow us to publish our URL to help promote our local access station.
Series Contract Drawing Date Set
for December 22, 2009 at 6:00 pm
If you wish to participate in the Series Contract Drawing for the January 1 - June 30, 2010 contract period you must attend this meeting. The qualifications are as follows. Each member must:
The meeting will be held at the Greensboro Cultural Center in the First Floor Rehearsal Room. The meeting will start promptly at 6:00 pm. We advise that you come about 10-15 minutes early in order to fill out the paperwork required. If you arrive after the drawing has started, you will not be able to participate until the break.

Our Office Hours 
The Cable 8 business office will be closed each day from
12:00 noon until 1:30 pm. Editing and Studio times will need to be scheduled accordingly. Series program submissions may be placed in the mail slot during this time.
